Michael Guli

Michael (Mick) Guli is the founder of Intrust Group. Mick began his career as an apprentice at the South Johnstone Sugar Mill. In 2014 after completing his dual trade as an Electrician & Refrigeration Mechanic he moved to Cairns and started stage one (Intrust Energy Solutions) of what would soon be a group branded trade service offering. In 2016 he was awarded the ‘Industry Rising Star’ at the HVAC&R leadership awards held in Sydney. In 2019 Mick secured an Australian first Electric Vehicle Pilot Project in collaboration with EVSE that saw the installation of twelve Electric Vehicle Charging Stations across six tourists sites in Far North Queensland. A project which was funded by the Queensland Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning and sponsored by RACQ. After successful completion of the project Mick was named a finalist for Business News Australia’s 2019 Australian Young Entrepreneur of the year awards.

Luke Romano began his apprenticeship at Westbury’s Plumbing & Gas in Innisfail. He served 11 years with Barry Westbury before joining Mick in 2016 to open the second leg of the groups trade service offering – Intrust Plumbing Solutions. Luke is well known for his friendly nature and unbelievable work ethic. Luke has produced geometric growth for Intrust Plumbing Solutions in a very short period of time both in revenue and operating profits. He is extremely respected on job sites as an efficient and effective operations manager.

Matthew Romano

Matthew joined Intrust Group in April 2020 after working for Horton Constructions as their primary Site Supervisor for the previous 2+ years in projects across Mapoon, Weipa & Coen. This diverse project experience of managing remote projects across Cape York has given Matthew a great footing in his ability to be a valued Operations Manager. He has a respected ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and contractors, ensuring risk is mitigated and desired outcomes are achieved. He has successfully completed his Cert IV in Building & Construction and has obtained a QBCC Nominee Supervisors Licence in the class of Builder – Low Rise.

Connor Lauritsen

Position: IES Operations Manager.

Connor Lauritsen completed his Electrical apprenticeship at Intrust Energy Solutions. Connor exceeded his capabilities as an apprentice and proved his worth many times over as a responsible, independent and trustworthy young man. There is no one better suited for the role of Operations Manager than Connor, he serves as a living tribute to our three company traits – Presentation, Communication & Attention to Detail.
